Spectral-line data processing is performed using the CLASS (Contiuum and spectral-Line Analysis Single-dish Software) data reduction package from IRAM in Genoble, France. Raw spectra from your Haystack observations are converted to CLASS-Fits format using the GetCLASS and AutoCLASS scripts described in the User Scripts section.

This tutorial is used during our annual NSF Chautauqua class "Radio Astronomy in the Undergraduate Classroom". It is meant to give the new user an overview of basic data reduction methods using CLASS.
