Data from the University of New Hampshire Durham Meteor Radar is now on
the Madrigal database at http://www.haystack.mit.edu/madrigal. This
data covers the years 1979-2002. The University of Hampshire Durham
Meteor Radar data is given in three formats in Madrigal. The first data
format is raw, meteor by meteor measurements, with line-of sight
velocities converted to horizontal velocities using the measured
elevation angle and the assumption of no vertical velocity. The second
data format is hourly horizontal winds produced by hourly
vector-least-square fits using all meteors but ignoring altitude
variation. The third data format is a fit to a Groves model, with
assumed periods of 48, 24, and 12 hours, along with average values. Each
data format is stored in a separate Madrigal file, and has its own plots
available.
