Luis,
Hope the installation of Madrigal at Jicamarca went well! Please let me
know if you had any problems.
I see one small problem: in the siteTab.txt file you edited, there is a
line break between "Jicamarca" and "Radio Observatory". This messes up
the parser, so could you make sure its all on one line? This causes the
isprint web page to fail when you try to look at an experiment.
Please let me know if you have any problems adding your data to the
database. The instructions are at:
http://jro.igp.gob.pe/madrigal/madInstall.html#add
I also suggest you sign up for the Openmadrigal-admin mailing list at:
http://www.openmadrigal.org/mailman/listinfo/
If you're interested in the development of new features, you can also
sign up for the madrigal developers mailing list at the same url.
Madrigal is a distributed system, so each site contains information
about the experiments all the other sites have (but not the data
itself). To make Jicamarca data available to other Madrigal sites, I'll
update the siteTab.txt file in CVS, and then send out an email to the
Openmadrigal-admin mailing list describing how to update it. After this
is done, people visiting other Madrigal sites will see links to your
site if they request Jicamarca data.
Again, please let me know if you have any problems or suggestions.
