Eclipse viewing in Westford

Our local viewing event, to be held in concert with MIT Wallace Observatory, is currently full. Thank you to everyone who has expressed interest in attending.

Good news, though: if you weren't able to get a ticket to our event at Wallace, you can still watch the eclipse here. We'll have a live link to the atmospheric science experiment data collection, as well as the observations being made with the MIT Wallace observation telescope, from this page. Check back on August 21 for live eclipse updates!

Excellent alternative events include the Ecotarium in Worcester and the observation event on MIT campus.

If you're viewing the eclipse on your own, please don't forget to buy ISO-certified solar glasses. NASA safety information is available, and the American Astronomical Society has posted a list of reputable vendors of eclipse glasses. Never look directly at the sun without eye protection!

We are not selling eclipse glasses.
