I completed my PhD at Peking University in 2012. I then worked at the National Space Science Center in the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the University of Michigan, respectively. I joined MIT Haystack Observatory in 2019.

My research interest is in general Ionosphere-Thermosphere physics and space weather, with a concentration on multi-scale ionosphere and thermosphere processes, including equatorial plasma irregularities, subauroral dynamics and electrodynamics, geospace storm effects, and transient ionospheric disturbances. I am also interested in GNSS-based ionospheric data assimilation and empirical modeling.
