Kazunori Akiyama
Akiyama has been awarded two prestigious awards for his work on the Event Horizon Telescope.
Haystack’s Kazunori Akiyama (a National Radio Astronomy Observatory [NRAO] Jansky Fellow) has been awarded the prestigious Young Scientists’ Prize from Japan’s MEXT ministry.
Akiyama also recently received the 2020 Young Astronomer Award from the Astronomical Society of Japan (ASJ).
